Anna Jordan, MFA, is an Assistant Professor of English at Westmont College. A Westmont alumna, she earned her BA in English Literature and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her teaching and research interests include creative writing, composition, dystopian literature, and environmental writing, emphasizing experiential and place-based learning. Professor Jordan has led off-campus programs in Iceland, Italy, France, and Greece, with an upcoming Mayterm in New York City, and has partnered with students in service initiatives with Sports Outreach in Uganda. Her short fiction and essays appear in Cup of Jo, Verily Magazine, Literary Mama, and other publications. Her essays are featured in The Magic of Motherhood (Zondervan, 2017).
