Programs and Initiatives The Next Step

Intercultural Programs at Westmont College hosted its ninth annual “The Next Step” workshop focused on racial justice and conciliation from MLK Day on Monday, January 18, through Friday, January 22, 2021.

The goal of this virtual workshop was to bring the Westmont community together to engage in reflection, dialogue, and initiative around issues of racial and societal justice - to ask the question, "What's the Next Step for the Church towards racial justice and conciliation?"  Faculty, staff, and students were invited to participate in this workshop to engage in this intercultural/cross cultural dialogue. This was a free workshop for Westmont faculty, staff and students.
